Social distancing is the most important thing in order to enjoy a safe holiday and, in our houses, you will be able to enjoy it with the guarantee of peace of mind that comes from having everything you need for your exclusive service.

Each house has its own bathroom, kitchen, living room, kitchen utensils for the exclusive use of you and your partner or family.
Your house also has its own private leisure area, with a garden or terrace.
There are no communal dining rooms and, of course, no crowds. You will be at ease with your partner or family, and safer than in your own home.
However, for everyone’s sake, you must explicitly accept all the security measures that we have implemented at the time of your booking confirmation.
Social distancing between people.
As you know, social distancing is one of the fundamental measures to avoid contagion, whether you are on holiday, enjoying an unforgettable route through the Basque Country or any other activity you do, while the coronavirus problem lasts.
That is why, much to our regret, the staff at The Rural Houses Ea Astei will keep the maximum distance from you and the rest of the clients. It is a small sacrifice we have to make for your safety and the safety of other guests.
At reception you will be attended to exclusively and, in addition, there will be protective screens. We will always use masks, gloves and we will provide you with the materials recommended by the health authorities.
The cleaning service will never be carried out while there is a guest inside the room.
You will find plenty of soap at home to wash your hands and we will provide you with a non-contact thermometer to check your temperature.
Minimising the risk of transmission
No precautions are too small when it comes to your health. We will never share any items between guests, whether pens, notebooks, magazines, brochures or any other material. All materials will be disposable or become the property of the guest using them.
At the end of the stay, the house keys are placed in a container with disinfectant solution prepared for this purpose.
In addition, we have doubled the cleaning shifts in the houses and in all areas of the complex, paying special attention to handles, handrails, taps and areas of greatest use.
Common areas for exclusive use
The common areas of The Rural Houses Ea Astei consist of:
- extensive gardens,
- a txoko (at the moment closed to customers)
- a large covered area with a car park, a charging point for electric cars and a games area that includes a fronton, table football, table tennis and other fun and games for young and old alike
- a swimming pool and sauna area
For these communal areas we have set maximum capacity and time quotas, so that guests can enjoy them in total tranquillity and with ample distance between groups.
For the safety of all, the pool and sauna area will not be shared at any time and its use will be reduced to shifts for only one house at a time. It must be booked in advance (those who come with children will have preference).
